I am glad you asked! Unfortunately, there are countless things that can go wrong while you are away from your home. A friend of ours had a second home in Florida and was not using a Home Check company to ensure that everything was as they left it. To their surprise, their cleaner showed up one day and found evidence that someone was staying in their condo when they were away. The dishwasher had dishes in it, cabinets left open and cigarettes left on the counter! They found out the hard way how valuable a Home Check can be. Below are some pictures of damages discovered by National Home Watch Association members as they checked on homes. Needless to say, but if some of these had gone unnoticed for several weeks, the costs to fix and repair could have increased dramatically.
